The length of the sections, 64cm or 74cm respectively, means the rod fits into most travel bags.
Despite the number of parts, the rods have the identical action and the same properties and fittings as the two-section version. The rods are available in 2.40m and 2.70m versions with casting weights of 100g or 150g.
